By supporting the FNCV you will be supporting our aim in spreading the understanding of our Natural World.
This aim is carried out by members, working across a broad spectrum of activities, such as:
- Working Bees:
Several times during the year the club has maintenance days, when minor repairs, gardening and general sorting is done. - Field Nats News (FNN) Collation:
Our newsletter is collated on the third Tuesday of each month it the FNCV hall. Folding starts around 10.00am and usually takes only 2 or 3 hours. Come along, have a cup of tea, a biscuit and a chat while you help provide this vital communication link for our Club. - The FNCV Library:
Our Library is open on Tuesdays from 11.00am to 2.00pm. From time to time extra assistance is needed, and anyone with appropriate skills would be welcome. This would be for 2 or 3 hours on a Tuesday. - Become more involved with your Special Interest Group (SIG):
You can become more involved in your SIG by offering to help organise a camp or excursion, by inviting a guest speaker, or by writing up reports or talks. - Join the FNCV Council:
The Council meets for two hours on the 4th Monday of each month at 7.30pm. All members are welcome to nominate for the Council at the Annual General Meeting in May, or to fill vacancies as they arise. This is a chance to have your say on the running of the Club and become involved in the decision-making processes.
